Alright, tomorrow's the day we throw down Episode 004 of the This Party Sucks Podcast!

This weeks episode features PETE K.

Along with Oliver Dodd and the rest of the Berlin Crew, Pete K has helped to revitalize the Techno movement in Nashville, TN, bringing a breath of fresh air to the music scene in the area often oversaturated with house and breaks. The success of Pete K's many residencies in the area are a testament to the growing club scene.

THIS PARTY SUCKS PODCAST

Welcome

Welcome to the new blog from Sanchez and the Shockers. We're calling it "This Party Sucks", which goes along with our podcast bearing the same name.

Our plan is to do a little of everything with this blog. We might post new DJ mixes, artwork, reviews on audio equipment, and who knows what.

To introduce ourselves, we are Sanchez and the Shockers. We produce electronic music for DJ Rap's Impropa Talent record label, and have various releases and remixes on labels like EMI France, Tharsis, Nashville Noir, etc.

In addition to audio production, we also spend a good deal of time playing shows across the United States. We perform a live audio/visual set, DJing a mix of original productions and tunes from our favorite producers from across the world, along with real-time original video manipulation. We recently incorporated Ableton Live into our perfomances, abandoning the CDJs. Using Ableton has allowed us to be more creative with our mixing, and give the show more of a "live" feel.
